the guy up the street has one of these for sale.
its the 3/4 ton, with wheels that match my 3/4 ton suburban. its in great shape, no rust, and brand new tires. only things wrong are a few small dents from use in the bed. i really want one to paint to match my suburban, and have matching tires, and extra spares on the trailer, for trailer, and truck. he wants $700.00 for it, and its been there for a few weeks. i think its a good price, but im pretty much spent my allowence for 1st of september, by picking up the following. msar 556 aug................................................... ( $600.00) msar, 42 round mags ( 14 of them).................( $400.00) plus some reloading supplies ( components), and a few boxes of ammo. so im kind of out of money to try to buy it. im thinking about offering him a deposit, and then pick it up on 1st of october. im really thinking about it. really, really thinking about it. ![]() |

Worked on the basement, I need it close to done for an appraisal for a refinance of the homestead. Finally made a hole in the family room floor to rewire the tv and stereo. Now the good one the gas budget went down, now our main utilities are about $110 a month....that is it we have no electric bill, that is so nice, if the econmy tanks, we eliminate the verizon bill and can survive so much easier.
MrsWind agrees that we should stock up on fabric, since the girls are learning how to sew and that to save fabric she is good with mid thigh skirts and dresses.... |

I haven't posted here in a while so here it goes.
Moved another 20 miles from the city to a town of 6k Almost done building my first aquaponics greenhouse with ten 40 gallon tubs and a 300 gallon fish tank, finished the piping tonight, tomorrow I will fill with water to check for leaks and to make sure it functions correctly before adding media and fish. All except for the fish tank is enclosed in a 10 x 12 green house, this has been a work in progress for the last three months as funds came available. My girlfriend is due with my first son (my first child, her second) in less than three weeks, so more and more money is going to get ready for the baby, I have been looking for the old school cloth diapers and diaper pins as a prep item. Haven't added anything to the food storage for a while because the new house were in has very little room, the garage is completely full of preps. |

Bought 7 MRE's, four rolls of TP, AA and AAA batteries, 55 gallon drum liners and a flat of 16 oz bottled water and packed them in a rubberized North Face bag for a Vehicle Bag. I was alerted I am to lead a 10 man team for disaster recovery should we be needed so I know I will be on my own for a day or two before we can get organized after the storm. (I am MS right now)
PM on my water filter and MIOX. ensured my preps not only include 72 hours worth of stuff for me but administraive supplies and PPE for myself (hard hat, glasses etc) Went through all my crap and put together another survival kit. |

Bought a used Acog for one of my rifles yesterday. Took some rifles to the range and got everything sighted in this morning. My first .22lr rifle (Sig 522 Commando) ran like a champ and was fun as hell so I order 9 mags for it and picked up 5,550 rds. for it at Walmart tonight. I'm also going to my local gun store tomorrow to trade one of century AK's for another Sig 522 Commando.

It's been a while..... but lots been going on..... been working on renovating and adding on to our yard barn.
Was a 30 year old 12x16, now is a 12x24 plus a 12x8 deck on the back, new foundation and floor lofts and shingles. a total gut and build. even put a 60 by 90 window with side cranks and a door with window on the deck end for a future guest house use. planted our first garden this year, was a great success. wintered last year entirely on wood, and although a learning experience we saved over 2k on utilities. Looking forward to it again this year. rebuilt a flat bottom jon boat as a B.O.B. and utility vehicle for the river we live on. bought a set of kayaks for hunting on the river. explored the river up and down stream a considerable length. Started a new career as well as furthered my side business/ambitions. After four years of struggling with a failing business/bankruptcy and rebuilding my life, I finally feel like I am getting some traction again. |
