I put a bunch of links up on my blog with Black Friday sales dealing with guns, knives, and tactical gear. It has stuff from MidwayUSA, Brownells, Del-Ton, plus the big sporting good stores.

Sales are to get people in the door. THey know that gettting you the door you will spend money. The pick sales items on limited amounts, things they want to get rid of. Also look at the quality. When SHTF, you won't get any spare parts. Also they are cheap, the generator/alternator, needs to be quality. Copper windings and solid construction, so it doesn;t burn up. You have to weigh quality vs price, and the store is in business to make money, not help you out.
