Amazing week. Chinook Salmon, Cohos, Steelhead and one nice resident rainbow.
For thse of you that don't know the Salmon River in NY state has an amazing run of salmon, steelhead and brown trout from lake ontario. This year the water was terribly low but the fishing remained great. I hit the run in mid september on the lower river when the first waves of salmon were entering the river, I have never seen anything like it before. An entire river frothing with salmon running up it. Anyways I'll shut up and post pics now. 
Some of the best fishing in my life was had, and it was with my Dad, brother and good friend. couldn't ask for anything better |

Nice!!! I need to get off my ass and hit up some steelhead out here, the run is starting to pick up.
