THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT We hit the road just after 5making pretty good time. A short time later we arrived at the lake.
It was cool and calm when we got there. We quickly got our gear set up and hit the water. I guess I should have checked my camera for artifacts as there was apparently one on the lens that I failed to notice.
The fishing was good right off the bat with each of us catching several. After kicking around for a while the wind decided to pick up a bit turning the nice smooth water slightly choppy.
The fishing slowed down after a few hours so it was time to head back for a quick beverage and food break.
Then it was time to hit the water again. The fishing never really picked back up to the level it was in the early morning; however it still was good times. Several hours later we decided to call it and headed back in. Screwing around while kicking back in to shore, I managed to get one last fish for the day. As I hadn’t taken a single fish pic all day I decided to take a shot.

Nice pics, I'm shocked to hear that wind affected your fishing, that never happens in Idaho.....
Have you fished Henry's Fork close to St. Anthony this year? I'm fishing it this coming weekend.... |

No I haven't fished the fork yet this year. Next on my list is Chinook and my spey rod. Then high country stuff with my 0wt in July as well as the secret bull trout waters in late July early August. After all that I might hit the fork |

I'm interested in these secret waters you speak of...... Does it rhyme with Pig Kroaky? I still have never caught a Bull, it's on my agenda for the next few weeks. I'll be fishing the Pig Kroaky or Spittle Kroaky, the waters that flow into the Mouth Pork of the Noisey river....
Am I close? |
