Not to much fly fishing in Bar Harbor since its a coastal town. If you have any extra time and are willing to travel farther north send me a PM and we can probably work something out. I'm not too far off from Bar Harbor.

Thanks for the offer but I am not sure I can drive too far since I will be on a schedule. So, I will have like from 6-11AM so i was hoping there was something in Acadia. I read up on Bubbles pond and Jordan pond in the Park. Do you know if these are wadable or is a boat/float needed?
I did read on the massive brookies on the west side of the state though. WOW. We don't have the big brookies in Michigan but we do get steelhead and salmon runs and regular 20+inch browns. |

I went there on my honeymoon in 2001. I didn't do much fishing, but you can guess why.
We tried Bubble Lake briefly, but it struck me as needing a canoe to do it justice. It was beautiful, though. Now that I think about it, there were at least a hundred kayak rentals for the harbor. You could probably bribe one of them to drop a kayak in Bubble and do it right. |
