I have a 16.50 Aluma-Craft that currently has a 2007 50 hp EFI outboard on it.
I have the option to pick up a 2014 60 hp EFI tiller steer.
Both engines are Yamaha.
My question is, how hard will it be to convert the 60 from tiller, to utilize current controls to include start, throttle steering etc.?
Will my current set up be 'bolt on' or even close ?

update

The tiller handle from the 60 will mount up to the 50, I only need an 'installation kit' for this. The kit has the correct cables etc. for the swap.
The 60 will accept all of the control inputs from my side console and steering assembly.

I should complete the swap in the next couple of weeks as work permits.

noticed a lot of views, and no replies, guess I did not make clear what I was asking.
