I am going to look and wet test a 2001 Flats and Bay 8x18 later this week. I know this boat was made in Sarasota FL. The manufacturer going out of business around 2004 or so. The mold for the 8x18 was sold to Famous Craft and then Blue wave or Blue water, not sure exactly. Anyone have information on the boats, good or bad? It has a 2 stroke 115 Johnson outboard. Is this a reliable outboard? Thanks.
