Remove the bearings and take a set to a real auto parts store. Have them cross reference the numbers to Timken and buy Timken bearings. Use a real marine wheel bearing grease, not automotive type bearing grease. Does the trailer have brakes? A brake "dragging" can heat up a hub.
I hate to be the one that tells you, but all of the 4-stroke engines now days are made in Japan or China. Johnson 4-strokes are made by Suzuki (unless something has changed) and the Mercs used to be Yamaha's until Merc pissed off Yamaha and Yam cut off their supply. Now the Mercs are Yamaha copies made in China.

No brakes on the trailer.

Thanks for your help.

I have a little 15' Alumacraft with a 35hp Evinrude. Not in the same class a most of the "fishing" boats pictured here.

Replaced my 16" bayliner capri with this.

89 Peterborough. 20' cuddy with an OMC cobra 4.3. Needs some cosmetic work but runs great and is in great shape.

2002 Mobius LSV, tons of fun. We have long boating seasons in Texas and get out almost every weekend its warm. Best thing I did was train my fiance to drive so I could spend more time boarding.

^^Nice Mobius...

Here's the only pic I have of our Centurion Air Warrior. Though, rarely does anyone actually ski/board/tube behind it.

2004 Moomba Mobius LS.

I use it every chance I get...my next Moomba will be a V-drive though....I love to surf, and even though you can do it with the LS, the V is even better.

Nice floater!!!!

Even with my V the older hull still requires some weight to get a big wave. I upgraded all the stock bags to full size Fat Sacs and generally run another bag ontop of the ski locker. I have friends with newer deeper hulls and they make my wave look like white wash with just a little weight. I am not sure if you have the same hull as me but mine likes to have alot of belly weight.

I finally have something to post here! I picked this one up this week. Its a 24" tunnel hull skiff. It doesn't seem natural to run over 50mph in 6" of water.

Picked her up late Fall last year. Looking forward to some warmer weather...

27 foot 2001 Glacier bay with 06 Yamaha 150's.
Is not made for speed, max's out at 34 mph, but is very smooth. With bad knees and a bad back, This is what I need.
At 27mph, She is drinking about 2 gallons an hour.... Not to bad.
The part that hurts is filling her up, Two 90 gallon tanks at $4.12 a gallon of non-ethanol gas.... To put that in perspective, if I only filled her when she was empty, that would be $750.00 every fill, or 1.3 Glocks, A decent AR build, An Eotech or Aimpont, or maybe two P mags... Good thing is she goes about 450 miles on a tank.

ETA:
Taken last month while checking some engine work...

Put it in the water for the first time last weekend. Electric Motor runs like a top. Will get a fishing photo to replace sad "in the driveway" photo soon...

Will do… Still waiting on my tiller extension from Stongarm, next will be rod holders for the gunnels and platform and a grab bars and cushion for the rear hatch.

I hate that I missed Gilberts this past weekend…

ETA that SUV you are building is going to be sick! If I would have known the SUV was good with 50hp & remote steering I would have went that route with a side console… I love the open layout of mine, but 10 more hp would be nice too.
