Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Info need on Mayan Fishing

Tell me about fishing around the Mayan Riviera.  Would like to go Tarpon fishing with spinning gear if there is an operator that specializes in that.

Have tried deep sea fishing a couple times but no great experiences or catches.  Tried river fishing for Tsrpon last year in Cuba and had a blast.  Want to find a good operator this time in Mexico and have some fun.

Check isla Blanca or ascension bay. Never fished there but researched it. Heading to roatan instead.
