I have a new generator and I wanted to use some standing flood lights.

Something like this.

Anyone have any experience with doing night/overnight fishing? LED v Halogen? I find the halo lights to be more in my budget. Anything helps.

I've got a rig that uses big GE aircraft landing lights.
They're something like 36v but I'm running them around
30v out of a step-down transformer fed by a 110v gen.
I love night fishing.  There is nothing quite like it.

Edit:  Quartz don't work very well because they flood
the area with light when you really need the penetration
into the water.  They'll work, just not as good as some others.
Put the stand into the water and get them as close to the surface
as you can.  The light draws the bait which draws the fish.
