THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT First time saltwater fishing in Washington (been here all my life), I've only chartered in Mexico. Anyone here ever fish out of Westport/ocean shores area? Planing on Dramamine the night before & as soon as I wake up, but once on the boat I'll probably just be following instructions. The weather should be partly cloudy, so I'll likely be in Keens, cargo shorts, and a fleece. What works, what doesn't, any advice in general would be appreciated. Thanks |

Thanks I've been salmon fishing twice from Westport. An ex girlfriend of mines parents live in Olympia and every time we would visit we would go salmon fishing. I don't really have any tips, except I did exactly what you plan on doing, Dramamine before bed and in the morning when I woke up, I was fine every trip I did. Have fun, there is fantastic fishing there. |
