Yeahs it was one of the bigger ones I've caught. Got it on a sand flea with a tiny piece of shrimp on the same hook. I've got a few that were larger weight wise. I'll see if I have a pic of them.

It was about 2/3 the size of that one. They have been catching hundreds of those little sharks on the Avon pier at OBX this week, mostly at night. Half the people who catch them are scared to death to handle the damn things to take them off their line -it's comical to watch. |

In my opinion, when they are that big, no. His looks over the limit but it could be close. They are usually full of worms and the bigger they are the worse they get. If I can't see their vertical black stripes, I usually toss them back. They are legal from 14-30 here in TX and I think anything up to about 20-25 is the sweet spot.
