Top speed is 40 mph with jst me in it not bad for a 21ft boat. The good thing is adding 2 more 300# persons and a 30 gal baittank full of water I only lose down to 37 mph at wot. The Carolina skiff DlX is not really designed to be a high speed planning hull 40 mph is plenty fast for our area lakes, very wide boat at a beam of 86"ts easy to walk around in without the teeter totter effect |

No stripes in holston. I heard they tried them in holston years ago, but the food base wasent their for them (holston doesn't have gizzard shad) and the stripers would ass rape their trout
