Posted: 6/18/2012 4:47:56 PM THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Was out fishing today, mostly expecting bluegill, on a whim my brother decides to throw out a plastic minnow probably a foot and a half under a bobber, and he pulls this in.... Think it's a smallmouth, but we catch so few that we aren't sure. Wouldn't you know it, probably a half hour later, on a piece of hot dog, I hooked the same guy! Definitely the same fish, he had a big hole where he was hooked the first time.

Goggle-eye)

They look like rock bass and even a small mouth. Cought a million of them as a kid. Taste great with beer batter and a frring pan of hot oil.
