Anyone here have any experience using fish cages in fresh water. I have some shallow water ponds (4-6 ft deep) on my father's property and I don't have alot of time to fish, but I love to eat fish. So I figured a trap would be the best way for me to satisfy my hunger without investing alot of time. I am open to any idea's and designs.

? cast net or a trot line?

If you make a cage it either better be large enough for them to find food or you better have a feeder and feed them fish food pelets with an electric feeder.

Thanks. I have no experience with shockers, cast nets or any nets for what it is worth. The trot line may be my best option.
