Did A little walk around the bigger ponds here. Snagged a couple of 3 pounders that were in about 4ft of water. Water temp was probably in the high 50's.
But yes you are correct it's about to be on!!! |

Yeah water temp here is in the high 50's. I can't wait for Sat to come, going hit the water again

Hope to go tomorrow and hit some bass and stripers.Going to camp on one of the Islands on Nottely.Would have went today but 26degree mornings hurt!Last season my oldest son caught 3 bass and a 36" Striper within 1 hr and 100yds of river.Smallest bass was 4 lbs.

LOL been in the 80s here in southern MD last couple days, and more tomorrow.
Surface water was 61 and fish are getting ACTIVE! |

We noticed them cruising the banks of local ponds a few weeks ago, ignored everything we tried to throw at them...but if you happened to catch a bluegill, crappie or small bass they would charge them like freight trains. My Son actually had a bass roughly 3lbs grab a crappie that was 8-9" he was reeling in, had them both for a few seconds.
