Not much, but this has been my biggest fish this summer fishing little neighborhood and farm ponds.  4.3 pound residential Large Mouth Bass pond monster.  Didn't have a ruler or tape measure with me but based on my hand being around 7 inches long he was around 3 and a half hands long and man was he a hawg fat as hell.  Thought I had caught a damned snapping turtle because he pulled so hard and then he took off into the middle of the pond.

Great pictures everyone, some real nice fish!

Here's some trout I've caught ice fishing the past few weeks.

These I got this morning at the gun club pond.  The small one in the middle is 14 inches long -

These 2 I got a couple weeks ago, 18 and almost 19 inches, again at the gun club pond through the ice -

Once again I am so jealous Track! Every year I say I'm going to go ice fishing and never get around to it. And I still got about 2 months before I can go fishing up here, comfortably anyway. Nice trout! I didn't catch much worth posting about lats summer And I didn't get to go to Pulaski last Fall either so I hope to go this fall!

I wish we had Trout around here, I mainly Muskie Fish but I have never caught a Trout and always wanted to.
I also want to catch a Muskie on a Fly Rod but I don't know if that will ever happen, I just feel lucky when I get "A" Musky, let alone screwing with a Fly Rod

There are some nice Fish Pics on here, I just now got back into fishing after about 25 years, and I am having a ball, and since I bought a boat I am learning all kinds of new stuff.

Sure is!

He fought for a good 5 minutes and I couldn't figure out why he was so heavy.  Then I landed him and found out why....he flipped my lure with his tail and I accidentally snagged him.  Notice the lure in this picture.

We had a good laugh and turned him loose.  Funny story I thought.

I caught this one yesterday in a private lake in Krum Texas.

Caught on a Carolina rigged 8 inch red/black Berkley PowerWorm.
Just under 3.5 pounds.

And here's my fishing buddy.

My BIL caught this one on 6-30-09 on a silver/blue 1/2 oz rattle trap. It was 5lbs even.

I should have had a pic, I went after my "Birthday Fish" last Sunday and I fish for Muskie, took my 2 Sons out and we trolled for 1.5 hours with no hits but the Boys were fighting over the binoculars so they could grade what all the Girls were wearing, ahhh to be young again
I tried a tactic I have been thinking about and changed lures, 4 minutes into trolling again and the Drag started singing and my Son put the binoculars down but I got to the Pole first, jerked, the fish took off and was shaking his head, it was a good fish and then the fish spit the hooks and took off and I knew my "Birthday fish" just avoided me for another year.
It was my fault, I didn't tighten my Drag when I put in and it was set to light, if the drag would have been heavier the hooks would have buried, plus I went to smaller hooks and that didn't help.

I caught 2, within 15 minutes on my Birthday 2 years ago, don't pay attention to the date, the Wife never reset it back then, we were using small Baits so we could catch any fish on that day and it was raining off and on that day plus I shaved my Gotee on a bet & felt naked so I hate these Pics
Only got a pic of the one fish because the last Muskie was so exhausted that we just pulled the hooks in the water, revived it and let it go.

I read on a fly fishing website that their is on place in eastern Ohio that has trout. I don't remember the name of the river. We get trout in the winter only, hatchery raised to 12-14 inches. There are some trout that live all year below a dam here (Canyon Lake). Water is clear spring fed and colder. WJ
