THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I intended to train him when I brought him home as a pup, but life got in the way of my plans. I assumed he was too old when things finally calmed down, so I never gave it more thought until recently. |

The only thing that would prevent you at this point is more laziness. If he likes being in the field, likes birds, and likes you, sounds like he's got all the ingredients needed.

It would only be a laziness issue if he would suddenly prefer to be a 90lb decorative couch pillow all day instead of just part of it. |
