I've got a hound with one ear missing about a dime size piece at the end. She wounded it about a month ago in some heavy brush.
Yall got any suggestions on getting this healed up. She shakes her head and blood flies everywhere. Considered superglue. Thanks

Blue Coat works good as long as she can't reach it.

Should be able to get it at the local feed store.

Make sure you get the kind in a bottle with a dabber on the end. I have noticed it does well to stop bleeding in minor cuts and etc, such that you are describing.

It would be "Blue Lotion" in the bottle with the dabber.

Later,

I know exactly what you mean about the head shake and blood everywhere deal. I went through this last fall and my pups ear was only slightly cut. I finally gave up and took her to the vet. They ended up stiching it up and glueing it back together. They they wrapped it and taped it in a paper towel tube. She healed up very fast after all of that.

Be courteous and kind to everyone you meet, but have a plan to kill them quickly if necessary.

Have her wear a cone for a week or two at at least and that should help.
