My dog Streaker here in Afghanistan. He's a yellow lab that's just over 2 years old. loves orbits and free searches but isn't too fond on the point to points.

last day of the dog handler school, let them have some fun and do water marks. never saw him so excited or rambunctious.

My IDD Jett. He also did not care for point to points, unless it was car/motorcycle searches. I'll have to dig up some action shots after New Years.

unfortunately Streaker got killed when our truck got hit by an 80 pound IED on November 15 2011. myself and the 3 army guys in the truck were all ok and walked away, flown out with concussions but that's all. Streaker was laying on the floor, he was hit with the blast which threw him around causing internal trauma and knocking him out which caused his death.
I did love my job, working hard is what K9s do…. I was born for it, I lived for it, and died for it; for my country….but mostly for you.

here's my pups. maddy is in the Pink collar and Laker is in the Orange and again in the Blue. Not hunting phots but I am training them both for birds this fall.

we have been competing in the dog sport of Dock Diving. maddy, 5, was one of the best in the country 2 years ago. She has been on ABC, NBC, Espn and ESPN2. you may have seen her on the Purina incredible Dog Challange. She didn't place very well there but she made it there. Her best is 27'4" to the tail/butt Laker is just under 22' She has been really sharp on picking up the bird skills so this fall should be fun.

Laker is competing in fetch in the photo-he has to bring the bumper down from the clips His best is 18' Maddy's is 22'

Adopted a USMC IDD 2 weeks ago, IDD Books M185 who was retired. old but doesn't look it, 7.5yrs old and still bounces off the walls

on the family farm where he lives now chasing bumpers and running around as much as he likes. i need to find some people to go hunting with to see if he still has it in him.
