Last weekend i went hiking on the Appalachian and spent the night at the Hertlein Campsite.  Wow, what an awesome spot to stay for a while.  I'll post pics of it when i can.  

But let me say, the trail leading to the site is as horrible as the campsite is awesome - nothing but large rocks.

If your're in PA and like camping out thouh, consider visiting it.  You want be disappointed.

Cool, thanks for the tip. I used to go deer hunting in State Game Lands 110 and sometimes camp in the Conrad Weiser State Forest, both of which are nearby.

I typically say the same thing hanging in my comfortable hammock  Thanks OP, we'll eventually get up that way...

I'd heard that some of the worst trails on the AT are in PA.
