These animals just strut around like they own the place.....it's awesome!
Hanging out on frozen Lake Hood in Anchorage.

Unless you got something big enough to take them down then they do own it. Don't believe me then walk out there and try and tell them to leave.

It very well could be, maybe why they're hanging out in the middle of an airport, won't get shot there.

No hunting at all in anchorage.

Critters aren't dumb. When I was stationed At Eglin AFB the deer would crowd the runways, taxiways and flightline during the season. You could hunt on parts of the base, but obviously not around the airfield itself.
