I am a very tall/large guy at 6'7" and 275 lbs.

I am looking for a good utility ATV for family land but want to make sure I fit comfortably on it. I know nothing about ATV's and this will be my first. Are there larger sized ATV's in general? What is the largest made?

You're gonna be tall for any ATV but I would recommend the Yamaha Grizzly 700. Full footwell for large feet and fairly tall bars and super dependable machines.

My son is 6'8" , 265, and really likes the Rancher 4WD.  He hasn't tried the Grizzly though.

Edit to add;  He does kinda look like a chicken riding a june bug!!!!

Really, any 400cc+ utility ATV will fit you fine.  I was 6'5", 280# when I had my Foreman 450.  Fit me like a glove.

Maybe look into a Side by Side / UTV ?

I have found that that the side by side doesn't cut it working and is inconvenient checking fence etc.and a truck is better.
But I would just jump on the 4 wheeler and go.

Might look at the Polaris 500 and up, I like mine, and it will do the job comfortably, and they have much larger machines also.

I have a Yamaha Grizzly 700 and it's a beast. I pull a DR Mower over my farm. I've had 400 pounds of gear plus me(250lb) and went up steep mountains etc. very little maintenance. I expect it to last 20 years. I sold a gun to s guy who owned 3 different motorcycle/Atv business of different brands and it was the one he told me to get. He was right.

Polaris Ace in whatever motor size you want -- 325, 570, 900.

Same dimensions as an ATV, but with a proper steering wheel and pedals and a roll cage.

I like mine, a lot, like an inappropriate amount.

I'm not a big fan of CVT (belt drive) ATV's, but that comes from having had older Polaris's on our farm and replacing $800 clutch assemblies when the pulleys get grooved by the belt... Maybe new ones are better, but we went to Honda Rancher now on our farm

You might look into the Honda Rubicon or Rancher. The Rubicon is a 680cc I believe with a car style auto trans Ranchers are 425/500 with centrifugal clutch and foot or electric shift.

I've been around a lot of Honda Ranchers and they are pretty much bulletproof from my experience. Haven't been around the Rubicon's too much but I know some guys that run a fleet of them for a commercial farm operation.

I sold my Kawasaki 650 and got a 2015 Honda Pioneer 500.  The Pioneer is suprisingly roomy for me and I weigh a bit over 250#.  No CVT drive.
