Congrats! You will enjoy it. We just downgraded to a hybrid travel trailer. Easier to pull and park. My 8 year old son wrote me a note saying how camping and fishing was a gift and he wants to do it more.
I'm ready for school to get out so we can play all summer.

Congrats, I just upgraded from a tent to my first popup camper. I got a big popup it sleeps 7 comfortably, just a basic model no frills but the boys are pumped to use it. I will one day upgrade the camper to a travel trailer and a bigger tow vehicle.

Only crappy pic I have for now I just brought it home LOL! Will get some better ones once set up to clean it out some and get it set up for use.

I spent the better part of monday sanding down the entire frame, bumper, and front to repaint it had light surface rust that needed to be taken care of here is the after pic of the front.

I'm pulling it with a 98.5 Dodge with the Cummins in it, and yep just got the Teflon plate put in the 5th wheel pin. As far as fuel consumption I haven't been real far yet only been to campgrounds probably 20 minutes away but so far not a big notice on fuel consumption. Wheel bearings were done at the dealer right before I picked it up but will do them again this fall just so I can say I did them for sure. And If I remember right it is 7k empty 8k with all tanks full and rated for up to 12.5k max full of gear and tanks. And If I didn't say it already the camper is 28 or 29 feet. Can't remember for sure

Here's the truck responsible for the towing of this thing.

Good for you............hope you enjoy it a lot.

I THINK we are going to buy another RV and pull it down to Florala (Alabama)for the winter. That's only 75 miles or so from Navarre Beach Pier and just a few miles further to the pier at Pensacola.
