If those are the real Swiss issue spouts they are probably the best spouts out there for European style jerry cans, even still i don't think they are worth nearly $50. The new cans they are selling look identical to the ones Atlantic British is selling and AB will send them to CARB states.

Super Siphon is the way to go. Ordered (or pre-ordered, whatever it is) 4 more just for the heck of it. Thanks for the heads up OP. |

I already had 1 spout and ordered another; not cheap but look good. Still pissed off I can't buy a good gas can because of CARB. I have an old Eagle can from the '80's that just needs a new spout and they are illegal. For God's sake.

AFAIK nothing says you have to junk your old cans. Someone out there might still sell replacement spouts for your old can. Atlantic British will sell you jerry cans, they just aren't for fuel.

I just got my order of 4, 3 of them look really good (on the inside, normal wear on the outside of all of them) & the 4th one looks rusty in the nozzle area. The rest of the inside on the 4th one looks good though. Is there something I can do about that problem spot? I think I am going to look for new gaskets for these.

Send them back and buy atlantic british at the link above. |

Send them back and buy atlantic british at the link above. Thanks for your opinion, but they look good on the inside (where it matters) other than the one I mentioned. Once I clean them up they will do their job just fine. I do not need pretty to store fuel. These have no dents & just finish wear on the outside from storage & good ol' fashion use. Swiss Army Vehicles cans X4 to my door = $132.38 British Atlantic cans X4 to my door = $193.65 Now does anybody know where I can order some replacement gaskets for these? Everything I come up with in a search says out of stock. Also would still like some advice on the rusty opening of the one, if anybody has any other than telling me to send them back & order from somewhere else I sure would appreciate it. |

Yeah but FWIW the Atlantic British cans are rust free and brand new new production needing no new gaskets etc.
You can clean up the spout with a steel brush or something similar. Gaskets are used to be available all over ebay.co.uk. I bought a bunch a few years ago for $.25 each or so. Maybe check there? |

The cans came in today. They look perfect; not a scratch or dent. Sorry, no pic

A couple of cans of spray paint, and you would swear they were new. |

Who has the Best spouts?
I have 4 cans and two metal spouts that are not the greatest, they leak at the gasket area. I use a large funnel now, but a good spout would be nice to have. |
