Ill play...
04 660 Raptor Bored and Stroked to 719cc wiesco piston trinity head webb cam FMF pipes ASR +3 arms Lonestar +2 axle Ohlins shocks 400ex tag bars etc.... Its a tourqe monster built for running and climbing sand dunes but does ok in the woods too. I'm getting bored with it but have too much money tied up in the damned thing. eta - im also on my second frame which preceeds all the mods. Had it apart so I figured whynot upgrade as much as I could. Hitting a tree WOT will rip the A Arm right off the frame - just sayin. eta MORE PICS being dumb - Ever since breaking my tail bone on this thing and bruising my kidneys (pissed blood for a week) I have tamed my ride style down alot |

Eh, I'll throw my Raptor in here as well
It's an '01 660 with a 686 11:1 piston Stage III hotcam Full Curtis Sparks exhaust K&N filter w/ velocity intake +6 Stellar swingarm It's mainly used as a sand drag bike, but I'm not quite sure if I want to go all out and turn it into a complete drag bike. On my short list of things for it are bigger crank and a lock-out clutch. Here is the crew that I run with. I'm the slowest one of the group, but I still have fun. ![]() |

NIce ride! Looking at the rest of thos bikes you can tell they are purpose built machines. Wow. I dont have the speed of a banshee but I can just crack the throttle in 4 and lift the front, 5th with a little tug on the bars gobs and gobs of tourqe.
We have a hil that is extreemly steep, twisty, and lined with trees, leaves, loose rock etc. There is a sign at the bottom that reads "motherfucker" and lots of atv plastic carnage laying around it. I have seen three atvs totally destroyed, a 250r, yamaha griz 660 and another raptor 660. Its been years since I have been down there since property holders changed and its fenced, but oh the memories. |

I'm still not sure if I want to make that leap since I like the fact I can still go out and just ride and play around on mine. I'm still working on getting it tuned just right, which has been an ordeal in itself. It's tough to find decent builders these days without dropping major cash. What size crank are you running? I'm planning on tearing the bike apart this winter and putting one in mine as well as a lockout clutch. ETA- Here's a crappy cell phone pic my g/f took the last race we had

The work was done by a local machine shop since I dont have the equipment. I know it isnt a hot rod crank and they had to do some clearance on the case as well. Im pretty happy with the 10.5:1 compression piston too. I didnt want to be riding something that would grenade on me so I kept it conservative. The carbs are stock (jetted of course)and the header pipe is stock as well. I tried the power bomb header and actually lost torque with it. Tried a carb from a yamaha griz - fell flat on its face. Didnt mention that Im still running 5 spring clutch with barnett plates and it has held up very well considdering I dont use the clutch once its moving. |

Oh my! You guys like ATV's huh? I believe I can contribute somewhat!
I have a KingQuad 700. Some of the mods are as follows: 2006 O.D. Green King, VDI, IAT Kit, Elka Stage 1+R, 2.5 Warn Winch, Dalton Clutch Kit 19.5gm Rollers, 27/9/14 & 27/11/14 ITP XTR's on Black ITP Type 7, Twin Air, J&T Temp Gauge, EBC SD Brake Pads, mcgill style front & rear PVC Snorkels, ODI Grips, ODI Alum Caps, Horn, Blue Clear Guard's, Tow Hitch, Custom Warning Plates, Roto-Pax Fuel+Water Packs, American Trails Bag, Garmin 60CSX. So last year my Cousin and I had a chance to go on an Epic atv trip, and we had never been out West before. It started with a small trip to Illinois because I was in a wedding, but it turned out to be a monster of a trip! Here are some stats: 39 Days, 19 States, 7,000 miles in the Truck, 1,047 miles on the ATV's, 810 Gallons of Gas consumed, and we rode all of the top 3 trail systems in the USA! (Hatfield & McCoy WV, Moab UT, and Paiute Trail system also in UT, we also rode a bit in AZ) The States included in order: FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, WV, KY, IN, IL, IA, NE, CO, UT, AZ, NM, TX, LA, MS, AL Here are some pics. Enjoy! (Not in order) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
