Yes. You might want to look in the Texas HTF and do a search. In the 30 seconds it took me to look at Magpul Dynamics schedule it looks like you are out of luck for the rest of this year with Magpul.
I would recommend googling Tiger Valley, KrTraining, EAGTactical, CSAT, and Tac Pro. I can personaly recommend KrTraining and CSAT.

MAST Solutions are located in Houston. I have trained with them several times and I highly recommend them.

MAPUL and Applesseed are two different types of shooting...
Really enjoy
Hoffner's out of Houston. He comes to La. to teach our classes.
Took 2 shotgun and 2 rifle classes. Wife is taking pistol in October.
Can't say enough.
I took a Magpul class last October that MAST Solutions hosted. It was a great class. The MAST classes I have taken are very similar to what Magpul teaches.
I would look into a class with Paul Howe (CSAT) or Jeff Gonzales (Trident / TRICON) they are both in Texas and both are excellent instructors.

The problem I find with the Paul Howe classes, in my experience, when I took a Tac Pistol I class from him last year, is that he tends to stagger the tac XXX instructor classes before his tac xxxx I classes, and doesn't actually do most of the instructing, he uses the student instructors a lot. I had a problem where my student instructor didn't give much feedback and feel I didn't learn as much as I would have had paul or one of the other instructors been teaching.
YMMV
Anyone know of anything in or near San Antonio? Blackwater/USTC was going to have a tac. carbine that turned into tac. pistol that turned into nothing here this year. Any other options around here?
Spartan Tactical north of DFW is top notch!
Paul Howe definitely puts on good courses. If you take a class that's piggybacked on an instructor class you might want to stay at the CSAT barracks so you can hang out with the guys & get a feel for who you might want to get paired up with based on their prior experiences, demeanor, etc.
