Trident Concepts, LLC will be conducting their 3-day Combative Carbine (CC1) in Brainerd, MN on October 12-14, 2010. The cost per student is $550.00 and deposits are due at the time of registration with full payment no later than thirty (30) days prior to course date.

This course is restricted to active/retired law enforcement officers and military personnel only.

The Combative Carbine (CC1) is a 3-day skill building course that will introduce the combative fundamentals for the tactical employment of a carbine in high-risk settings. It is structured around the main core skills for fighting with a carbine by using extended range sessions and high repetitions to strengthen proper technique. Graded evolutions throughout the course provide instant feedback to the student on skill development, technique deficiencies and overall ability. The linear progressive training exercises build a solid foundation in order to progress to more advanced skills.

Basic gear list:

Tactical carbine (with tactical sling and red-dot sight)
Serviceable pistol
2,100 functional rounds of carbine and 200 rounds of pistol ammunition
5 carbine magazines minimum
5 inert carbine training rounds (no A-Zooms)
Training uniform (ball cap and gloves)
1st Line gear (rigid belt, sturdy holster, magazine pouches, flashlight pouch, multi-tool pouch and dump pouch)
Load bearing equipment to carry 5 magazines (basic 2nd Line gear)
Clear wrap around ballistic eye protection and ear protection
Elbow/knee pads or shooting pad
Hydration system and energy snacks
Multi-tool & handheld tactical light
Weapons cleaning kit and quality lubrication

Im going to bump this.

Jeff is a great instructor, and I have seen a few. I just finished a course with him in April and found that he gives a lot of 1on1 instruction and is very good at diagnosing shooter errors.
