Diopter adjustment question
Hi all, I have a millett DMS-1, and the reticle is sharp to my eye at the minimum setting, but it's blurry when I shoot with both eyes open at 1X. I can adjust the diopter and can shoot with both eyes open at 1X, but as soon as I add magnification, and close my other eye it blurs out with that diopter setting. What srange circumstance causes this?
Always do your diopter adjustment at max magnification, and at a bright, blank background. Give yourself only one second to determine if it's crisp or not. Don't linger on it.
And stop closing the other eye. You should be trying to shoot with both eyes open in all circumstances.
