Is there a correlation between inches of drop on a ballistic table and Minutes of angle?
I am going to sight in a .50 cal at 300 yds, the maximum distance I have available for a couple of weeks.
The match I will shoot is 1000 yds.
In shooting a similar rifle in the past, I have seen the comeups end up very close to my Palma rifle in minutes of angle..

I have run the ballistic tables to 1000 with a 300 yd zero.
The table shows a 55 inch drop at 600 yds to a 130" drop at 800.

Table:

600 yds -55.73 in 2116 fps 7453 fpe 0.768 sec 106.42 in 28.07 in 13.33 in
625 yds -63.31 in 2097 fps 7320 fpe 0.804 sec 116.17 in 30.79 in 14.51 in
650 yds -71.36 in 2078 fps 7189 fpe 0.839 sec 126.39 in 33.65 in 15.74 in
675 yds -79.89 in 2059 fps 7059 fpe 0.876 sec 137.10 in 36.66 in 17.02 in
700 yds -88.90 in 2040 fps 6931 fpe 0.912 sec 148.29 in 39.82 in 18.34 in
725 yds -98.40 in 2022 fps 6805 fpe 0.949 sec 159.96 in 43.13 in 19.71 in
750 yds -108.39 in 2003 fps 6680 fpe 0.985 sec 172.13 in 46.59 in 21.12 in
775 yds -119.49 in 1985 fps 6560 fpe 1.024 sec 185.40 in 50.38 in 22.87 in
800 yds -130.36 in 1966 fps 6438 fpe 1.061 sec 198.44 in 54.13 in 24.30 in
900 yds -180.17 in 1894 fps 5971 fpe 1.215 sec 256.95 in 71.11 in 31.02 in
1000yds-240.55 in 1823 fps

From my Palma days I had about a 10 minute comeup from 600 to 800.

Is there a correlation between the 10 MOA difference and the 75 inches of drop shown on the tables?

Thanks for any input you might have.

1 MOA is 1.047" at 100 yards 3.141" at 300 and so on. Take a look at JBM ballistic calc. It will output in inches, clicks, MOA, or Mils.
