The Midland Police Department and CSAT is proud to announce that we will sponsor a five-day URBAN MARKSMAN COURSE in MIDLAND, TX. Paul has over 20 years in the U. S. Military, over 10 years in the Army’s elite Special Operations Forces and seven years as a law enforcement trainer. This class develops police marksman skills in the following areas:
Safety Moving Targets
Role and Duties of the Police Sniper Shooting Through Glass
Selection/Training of the Police Sniper Stress Shooting
Shooting Plans/Positions Low Light Fire
Fundamentals of Marksmanship Command/Control/Reporting
Cold shot procedures Camouflage and Concealment Class
Range Estimation Command Fires
Reading winds and slope Record keeping
Shooting Ballistics/Environmental factors Weapon Maintenance
Field Fire Techniques
This course will focus on the fundamentals required to serve as a Swat Urban/Precision Marksman.
