Attended a 4 day, 3 gun instructor level course at Midwest Tactical near Warrensburg Missouri. Covered handgun, rifle, and shotgun. Excellent class with very professional instructors. Came away with some good info and techniques. Lots of focus on marksmanship. The facility was great and I encourage you to look at their training listings and attend if possible. Great time! First time I had used a red dot primarly for a rifle class. (Aimpoint T-1) Im thinking Ill put red dots on more of my rifles now!

Some additional insights to my training....

Had my CMMG 10.5 SBR go down while zeroing in. Popped primer (Federal xm193) Switched to my BCM Midlength and it ran like a scalded dog the rest of class.
Used a combonation of Federal xm193 (app. 300 rounds) and Wolf WPA 55 grain steel case (app 400 rounds) No failure to fires except the popped primer with the CMMG and XM193.
Wolf ammo shot great on steel out to 200, as did xm193. (200 yard shots were done after class was over)
Lots of discussion on gear, slings, AR rifles and accesories.
One student brought an MP5, and did very well with it. (He could hang with us rifle guys out to 150 yards)
Shotguns are great...just make sure you have some slugs. ( I usually teach straight slugs for shotguns)
Canadians can shoot! ( had a student from Canada)
Glocks and a few M&Ps were handguns used. No issues with either.
Don't forget the sunscreen! (ouch)

Great training and very much recommended!
