This is by far the best training I have ever received when it comes to AR-15's. Chris Costa does a very good job at imparting knowledge and getting his point across, he is serious but does not lack a sense of humor (The Fry Guy). I am in the Military and learned more in the first 4 hours than in 7 years in the Navy.
Was it expensive: yes but worth every penny. The pressure he (Chris) puts on you makes you really focus your efforts and develop your skill. I work well under pressure so it was a welcome addition to the training. If you can't handle someone yelling at you, this is not the course for you, you have to sack it up.
By the way if you are not in decent shape it will become very apparent very fast. you will run kneal, squat, go prone, supine and stand up run some more and twist around all while carrying the rifle, magazines and any other gear you carry. I was wearing body armor and 5 rifle magazines and 2 pistol magazines, a camel back and various other things, so I sweat my ass-off needless to say. I shot nearly 1500 rounds in 2 days, including a night shoot that was fascinating and very educational. The light discipline that is taught is great. I recommend this course to anybody who is a new AR owner of to anyone who just wants to brush up on tactics and training. I look for ward to follow-on training from Magpul. By the way Chris runs little drill/contests during the course for free Magpul stuff and it def pays to be a winner,

I love the CTR Stock.
Great write up!
I don't think I could have said it any better!
