I'm looking at a new Blade Tech holster for IDPA. I really like the Tek-Lok system that I have on the magazine pouchs that I have from them. A few questions:

1. Does the TEK-LOK system for a holster work well for IDPA?
2. The BT web site seems to indicate that the Stingray is the only approved IDPA holster. But it doesn't have TEK-LOK. Does anyone know if the straight up TEK-LOK Holster is legal in IDPA?

I have been running Tec-loc on all my Blade Tech gear since it hit the market. To my knowledge, IDPA does not regulate belt loops on holsters.

As I recall, IDPA specifically outlaws the drop offset holsters for men but they are allowed for female competitors.

Thanks. I can't really tell from the site but is the bottom of the holster open? I happen to want to use a gun with a threaded barrel so I want to make sure I won't have any issues with the fit.
