Has anyone scoped their RRA NM A4?

For those that have, does the front post show up in your scope when set at a low power, like at 1x?

If your scope bore is low, you see the post at 1X.

When the power climbs or if you mount very high, the post is either gone or less visible depending on many variables.

I've done it on my RRA NM A4. They make rings for them that are taller and they work great. I can't remember what brand they are but I got them at Wholesale sports for around $50.00

How high do the rings need to be to get over the front post? Inch and a half? Two inches?

The lowest my scope goes is 4x, and all I see is a shadow of the front sight base. I have standard rings and a 1/2" riser

I tried the Wilson Combat mount but it did not work with my scope so I ended up with a Burris PEPR. My scope also only goes down to 4x. Barely a ghost of the front sight. Higher magnification and it is not noticeable.

For those of you who don't have and don't want to buy a riser:

The weaver 'see-thru' mounts are a good option. They're cheap and close to the correct height for a flattop.
