Just use a standard bolt carrier. There's no "national match" bolt carrier outside someone's marketing. Just looked at their site (never heard of them). Save your money.

You'll need to send your upper to John for his rear sight mod. If you have the proper tools, you can do it yourself. CLE/RRA/WOA free float tubes all work fine. If you want a WOA barrel, just call WOA.

Sir, since we're asking opinions here I agree that WOA does outstanding work. I have experience with their products and skills. I'll add that I believe the free float tube by Armalite is also excellent quality. I bought a 1/4X1/4 sight assembly from WOA at the Nationals a few years ago but since they couldn't do the "pinning" mod there at Camp Perry I had my gunsmith here in Virginia do it for me. There are a lot of choices when it comes to barrels, I believe WOA still markets the PACNOR barrels but I think they also offer other choices. The important part is that the barrel be properly installed on the upper receiver and reamed for proper head space. JMHO, 7zero1.

What John will likely recommend is one of his Wilson barrels over PacNor and Krieger. That's what he says he shoots. The higher-priced barrels can last longer, but the $/shot is even.
Don't forget a NM flash hider (there is a company that acutally makes err I mean market these)
Just kidding! Great advice here.
Yeah, an NM bolt carrier is a red herring. No such animal, so save your money for ammo and entry fees. White oak makes a nice float tube as well if you want to do one-stop shopping. Don't worry too much about a high-end barrel right off the batt either, unless money is no object.

Completely agree. White Oak, in my opinion, makes the best float tube.

Fixed it for you
Completely agree.

CLE makes the best. The sling mount is not on a cantilever
Close second is BM and third is DPMS.
All use a standard configured FSB

That's why I qualified my opinion as being my opinion.
I began to dislike the Bushmaster float tube when it came loose (unthreaded) the second time. The first time was as it was installed from BM.
CLE tubes, to me, seem clumsy.
I have no experience with DPMS.
Sounds like you have gone through many brands.
CLE is a two piece tube. BM is a copy of it. Both are silver soldered units and not adjustable for length.
DPMS is similar but uses a locking compound and are staked for it's fixed length as well. All are a POA to install and time
Most others use a three piece assembly adjustable for length with a locking ring. Easy to install and time.
