I've been shooting my RRA NM A4 upper for 2 years now. Our club has 200 yd reduced course, and I've been improving every match this year. Last month was 471-9X.
Bad on me, but I have not documented shot count on the rifle. I est about 3500 rds.
So, next year I plan on shooting full course official shoots, so I want to rebarrel. Just joined a club with a 600 yard line.
So, should I get the WOA standard barrel, or do my scores indicate maybe a going with a WOA premium barrel (Pac-Nor or Krieger)?
If you are already going to rebarrel then get the best you can get. If your serious about the competition you want the best.

That WOA standard barrel will serve you well for next season, see how you do at the full course, then upgrade if you can consistanly shoot Master. The only real advantage to the krieger is barrel life. But if you do the math the costs per round fired on barrel life is about the. Same. Best to spend the extra money on a better sling or coat and ammo. A new glove every year is good too. Offhand with a fresh glove is usually better. The RRA barrel you have is probably done at that round count. Mine died right about there. Still shot great at 200, but was opening up at 3 and 6.
I am a high master and I use the WOA Wilson barrel. If you are to the point it takes x's to win the match, use a Kreiger

. It had better be 30 + in and 80 RC match. Since I shoot with John on a regular basis, I can tell you he uses the Wilson

. Just remember, don't screw around with the load. Use the 24.0 gr of RL15 and practice/dry fire.
Like I said only advantage is in time between replacement....
Guess I'll buy one of Johns uppers. That way I'll have the RRA for short practice/loaner use.

This is good advice.
