I am assisting 7 other competitive shooters to qualify for the ballot for election to the NRA Board of Directors. The ballot will be in the February 2011 magazines with the election to be completed by April.
This is an opportunity for all competitive shooters to gain some representation on the Board. Currently we are a small minority in the NRA membership but if we all get out and vote we can make this happen. We need to be vocal at our club meetings, shooting events, Friends dinners and gun shows talking to others and making them aware of the need to vote for these competitive shooters on the ballot.
The shooters I have helped are as follows:
Gunny R. Lee Ermey, Ms Patricia Clark
Chief Warrant Officer Dennis DeMille, Commander Ted Carter
LtCommander H.J.”Walt” Walter, Lieutenant Carl Kovlachik
BGEN Eddie Newman, Detective Lieutenant Dennis Willing
We have a group on Facebook, Click on this link:
Competitive Shooters Group
There is also a link to the bios for these people:

I will keep all of you advised on progress and developments, meanwhile please contact your competitive shooter friends and other NRA voting members and make them aware of this slate of candidates. If we ever expect to have some input into the NRA shooting disciplines this is our best chance. Please support us in our quest.
Thanks
Jetjock
You voting members should have gotten ballots by now.

Sir, the ballot came in the February issue of American Rifleman magazine. I got mine over a week ago. 7zero1 out.
I voted for those 7 only. Don't dilute their chances by building the vote counts of others.
