Never heard of it. Can't make it this year maybe next year. I assume the range is in New York also. If so how does one go about traveling to New York state with their weapons for a match.

This

No AWs, and no possession of any handguns by non-residents.

It's a great match. Nothing like hanging around the young warriors that run the match to make you realize how old you really are.

This.

The NRA sanction letter covers you in transit through NY state per NYS Penal Code (locked container, unloaded, ammo separate, etc...) and the match is held on USMA military ranges.

Are you going to limit pistol and rifle magazine capacity like has been done in the past?
Just need to know, so I know what pistol and what rifle magazines to bring.

First time competitor on Friday- Great fun and super training opportunity. Wasn't sure what to expect but the folks in my squad and all the event organizers were really nice to meet and shoot with. Great honor meeting Capt. Houghton's father and sharing a few words as we finished up at the end of the day. Big thanks to the CWT for hosting the event and all the sponsors for the amazing prize table! I look forward to next years match! Thanks.
