My father in law received two certificates for a two day course with front sight and is going to take me and I wanted to know if anyone has gone to their courses. Does anyone know if the practical rifle course is similar to a carbine course or what the class is.

I personally have not been because they are a long way from my BOE. I have heard from members that the classes are very good.

The rifle class is like a carbine class.

I've got some photos up in this link, which has another link in it of more photos.

Another question I have is will this class count as a prerequisite for a carbine 2 class or will I have to take one also. There is a carbine 2 course by lms defense I wanted to take but the carbine 1 is in ca and I don't know about spending money on a class I can't run real magazines in.

That would be a question for LMS Defense.

My thought on running a class with limited capacity mags is oh well I just get more practice with tactical and emergency reloads. Which is not entirely a bad thing.
