Here's Remington's pre-emptive response to another hit piece by the drive-by media...

The target now is 870, 1187, and 1100 Remington shotguns....

Was it a hit piece on QC?

I'm 85% ball busting. I own a lot of big green stuff.

More fabricated.....no, let's just call a spade a spade....LIES coming from NBC.

Video deposition of NBC's two so-called "experts" speaks for itself.

yup,
-making money for their "expert testimony" - check
-getting press for their product' - check
-applying pressure with the "unbiased" press - check
- blackmailing companies to buy your product - check

Sounds like a real nice clean situation to me.

Frankly I think if you've testified against every gun maker on several continents you've pretty much F'd your ability to sell them a patented "improvement". Even if it was better than what they had, I wouldn't buy it if I was the CEO of the companies being blackmailed. Go pound salt!

After what NBC pulled in doctoring the 911 calls from Zimmerman in Florida, I would take anything they report with a grain of salt.

NBC also did a hit-piece on GMC/Chevy trucks with side mounted fuel tanks.
I won't waist a second of time on NBC, besides The Freedom Group's roll up of Companies is selling everything they can make faster than they can make it....must be doing something right.

Rem 870, the most issued 12ga shotgun in LE inventories in the world.

The alleged problem seemed pretty reasonable. I feel like it's widely known that many guns can go off when dropped unless they include a hammer block or firing pin block in the safety mechanism.

I don't think it's a problem unique to remingtons... i've heard of fs2000's going off if you drop then on the buttstock.

Those guys that were injured, were not very safe with the shotguns... I'm going to put my hand over the muzzle of this here loaded shotgun..

really??? And you know, if you don't drive carefully you could get into an accident? If you aren't careful walking down the stairs you could end up seriously hurt? NBC is an absolute joke.
They lost all credibility a long time ago with their GM hit piece.
They are trying to divert attention from their fabricated racial baiting FL story,
Pathetic.

Another possibility is that this could be political retaliation for publicly opposing microstamping.

Nothing as bad as the Today Show hit piece on FTF firearm sales. THAT was fucking horrendous.
