May 3rd - 5th @ the GRB.

Sounds like fun. Anyone ever been to one of these? I'm looking forward to it.

Mini SHOT-Show, but open to the public. Good time, lots of gear to sniff directly from the manufacturers, speeches/conferences to sit in on, the occasional celeb wandering about, good place to get straight scoop on firearms and accessories directly from the horse's mouth (or posterior, depending :) ).
There's an airgun range to get kids and newbies checked out on shooting, lots of exhibits from collectors associations for the historical firearms fans, that sort of thing.
Team GEMTECH has been exhibiting at the NRA convention for a while, it will be good to be back and look forward to meeting folks and showing our gear down in Houston!

Went to the Houston meeting in 2004. Great time. Plan on going at least two days if you really want to see everything.
I wish they'd have it up here in DFW.
I was very disappointed last time it was here. It no way could be called a mini S.H.O.T. Show. when I stopped by the Steyr booth the rep was a jerkwad.

Went in 2004. Nice show, but I thought the point was to have an annual meeting. When the actual meeting was going on, very few went. The show floor was packed, the meeting, not so much.
It is not a "gun" show with local dealers and folding as much as a manufacturers' trade show with booths. I would go again. I drove from Bastrop, saw meeting and show, and drove back the same day. I think I saw everything I wanted to.

I took my dad and did not see that much due to his condition at the time but I am glad it is coming back I will go . It would be nice if there was a gun show next door at the same time.
I will go to some of the meeting this time.
Went to the show when it was last in Dallas. Interesting time.
