New to the hobby.....input please!!!

Hello All,
I'm new to the board and the hobby of guns/shooting. I recently bought a G17. I'm looking for some advice/suggestions/input etc. about the following:
1. A source for cheap 9mm ammo
2. Where can I get extra mags that won't cost me an arm and a leg?
3. Are suppressors illegal in Canada.
4. Am thinking of fibre optic sights and a laser.....suggestions?
In addition to the above any/all input is welcomed.

Where abouts in Ontario are you from? I am assuming the Hammer....
The answers that are my opinion are below;
1 - Reload, if this is not an option, then contact SFRC and get some Wolf Remanufactured 9mm ammo. Supply is tight, so be patient.

2 - Try registering at Canadian Gunnutz and checking out the equipment exchange. They usually have new and used mags for sale there. You will have to apply for access to the Equipment Exchange (EE), but it will be well worth it!

3 - Totally illegal
4 - The fibre optic sights you should be able to source at Top Glock Distributors, Brownells, Dawson Precision, etc, etc. The laser you are on your own, never saw the need for one, but google is your friend :)

Hello,
Actually I'm in Burlington but am originally from and coach in Steeltown.....where you at?
I want to get into reloading but one thing at a time.....what is SFRC?
I will register at Gunnutz and see what I can find.
I'm also shopping around for a club to join as well.

I am up Collingwood way.
You are in a perfect area for clubs, lots of good choices not too far away. Have you looked at Range Burlington? http://www.rangeburlington.ca/page2.html
They have a pretty good setup for indoor there. For outdoors check out Silverdale; http://www.silverdalegunclub.com/ Have heard nothing but good comments about them.
