This whole thing is turning into a farce.
At least maj Harry Schmidt has the courage to proceed with a court martial to try and bring all the facts to light and possibly clear his name.
Yes he dropped the bomb and yes he was told to disengage but..I think Sgt Marc Leger's father said it best.

Mr. Léger, who attended the hearings, said his son would have been more interested in seeing the problems that led to the accident fixed than the pilots imprisoned

Poor communications,briefings,pilots high on amphetamines. there is a much bigger problem here then pilot error IMHO!

I agree. I have no desire to see this guy huing out to dry. I admire his courage for insisting on a courtmartial.
