I have a vintage stalking / safari rifle which has been to India and back.
Gibbs of Bristol regulated for the Calcutta Rifle Company inscribed on the barrel.

Nearly all Mannlicher-Carcarnos have a history of some sort. Yours look like it has withstood history well. Nice gun.
