It seems that the argies are desperate to get their hands on the oil. I just hope that there is some armed security on the oil rigs - as I wouldn't put it past them to try and take one over to back their claims that it is "illegal".
I seriously hope that we are not giving any of these countries who are thumbing their nose at us any aid...

It seems to me that these South American countries are trying a little political point scoring.

Argentina is fully, totally and thoroughly broke. Of course they want the oil. That de Kirchner bitch will have a revolution on her corrupt hands if she doesn't deliver.

Peru is a real dump anyway. 
Undeveloped, backwards, and corrupt.
Not much of a loss really, as the REAL jewel in that area is Chile. Much better wine, far less corrupt, great sea food, nice people & generally better in nearly all respects. Just focus on Chile & ignore Peru.
