Need a bit of advice.
I'm trying to project trajectories for some RG 62gn surplus. The round is not listed (unsurprising really) so I'm trying to work out what to enter it as.
There is a Barnes 62gn HPBT, would that have similar properties to RG, or is there a better round to enter to achieve similar results? There is also a generic .224 round, but it's 69gns.
I'm confused.

Use the Barnes at 2850 and it'll get you close enough

Many thanks for the advice guys.
Mark, I am trying to calculate the adjustments from a 100 yard zero out to 600 yards (in 100 yard increments) for the 62gn RG, with 1/2" clicks on the scope. I'm going to the zero range on Sunday and want to try and get an idea on the adjustment for each range beforehand. I haven't measured yet, but I believe the sight is 2" above the bore.
This is all so I can use my own brand spanking new rifle at the next CSR and not have to borrow yours.
Cheers.

If you use the G7 drag models (for boat tails) it has a BC of 0.158, which is more realistic

Incidentally:
.304 is the BC that Trijicon uses for M855 ammo and the BDC on certain ACOG scopes
