If I had a YHM flip up rear sight would it work alongside a MBUS front ? Or does it have to be Magpul front and rear as they are machined at non standard hights ??

FWIW I'd get rid of the mag pull, every person I've met with mag pull buis is waiting to replace them !

I've got Magpul back ups on my M&P 15-22, they're the same height as the standard A2 sights that were supplied with the rifle.

So as far as I know they'll line up with any other sight designed for use on a flat top AR. The front post is height adjustable for elevation.

They're OK, they do the job, and came in handy when the battery died on my red dot mid-shoot.

Which ones are better then, Knights?
If I ever get to buy an AR, no reason to waste money on useless crap...

Yes for a gen 2 MBUS.
YHM rear sight - Designed to co-witness with the standard M16-M4 front sight.
Magpul gen 2 front sight - Clamps to most any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny/STANAG 4694 railed hand guard and provides the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons.
