Visiting Germany This Month! (Bamberg)

Hello!

Coctailer gave me a call and told me to make a post in the EU HTF about my trip to Germany this month.

I should be there in 2 weeks, and have never been to Europe before. (I've been to SE Asia and Canada though)

What are the "Must see" locations that are near Bamberg that I shouldn't miss?

I want to make this trip something I remember for life, but not something I regret. (nothing too crazy)


I haven't posted in here before, but just to let everyone know, I am the current Moderator of the FFL Forum here on AR15.com and I have Moderated a few other sections in the past. I am an FFL/SOT as well.

Oh, and I don't speak a word of German. (is this going to make my trip hard?)

Hiya Jason,

You'll like Bamberg, there is enough to see and do right there . If your into medieval architecture, there are some wonderful buildings to be seen.

If you have the time and a set of wheels lets say on a Saturday morning, pay me a visit. I'd be honoured to take you shooting.

BTW., I'm 30kms to the south of Munich, so it's a 3-4hr drive at the moment, due to all of them holiday makers clogging up our autobahns.

I was just informed that I WILL be headed to Munich for the weekend, but I'm probably going to be stuck with other plans for the time being.

Do you recommend anything in Munich that I must see before I leave?

There is just so much to see and do in Munich, if your only there for a day or three, I wouldn't know where to start .
