Bad news for everybody outside of Germany ...

I just found the following information on the web site of Oberlandarms:
(Considering the fact that Oberlandarms is the "European Distributor" for several big names (Vltor, Geissele, Magpul) this is really bad news!)

Entsprechend der U.S. Export Gesetze verkauft die Oberland Arms OHG keine Produkte und Teile U.S. amerikanischer Herkunft ausserhalb der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Dies betrifft auch Produkte deutscher/europäischer Herkunft, die U.S.-Teile enthalten.
According to U.S. Export Law, Oberland Arms OHG is not selling Products, Parts or Components of U.S.origin outside of Germany. Parts of German/European origin, that contain U.S. Parts, are also only sold in Germany.

Why do you think that US-Export-Laws do not apply to dealers in UK? As far as I know it is not so easy to order gun parts from the UK (A lot of paperwork necessary!) I am really not sure if this is a valid alternative.

Just the usual stuff that you can get through Schuhmacher, Oberland etc. I'm not in sales, I was just offering my services to my fellow Arfcomer's.
